For food purposes, allow the product, the content of erucic acid which does not exceed 5%, and thioglucosides – 3%.
Rapeseed oil has a specific pleasant taste and aroma, and in its taste, this product is not inferior even to olive oil.
The seed oil of the usual varieties of the plant continues to be used in industrial chemical, leather, metallurgical, soap-making, dyeing, textile, and other industries. It is widely used in mechanical engineering. Every year the environmentally friendly form of biofuel based on rapeseed oil becomes more and more popular.
